• Ruabon Works on the International Stage

  The Ruabon Works Stand at the recent International Process Industry Exhibition ACHEMA generated much interest, with visitors from many different parts of the world.
  
  

• 'World Class' Asset Care At Ruabon

  Ruabon Works' 'Asset Care Excellence' (ACE) programme was audited in December 2005 against the international Asset Management benchmark, AMIS.
  Ruabon Works has been awarded the 'World Class' status. This reflects the site's delivery of excellence in asset care and reliability. Less than 5% of Manufacturing locations have ever been assessed at this level of performance.
  Any guest at Ruabon has the option of adopting the systems and working practices that ensure this exceptional level of asset maintenance

• No Room for Improvement

  • A recent BSI audit of Ruabon Works found no areas where improvements were required either in quality or environmental systems.

• World Class Processes

  • The Oliver White Group, an independent consultancy, has benchmarked Flexsys' business management processes that are in operation at Ruabon Works are World Class. Guest Operators have access to any such proven ‘Operational Excellence’ processes which they believe will enhance their site operations

• Total Compliance

  • In February 2005 the Ruabon Works Water Treatment Plant achieved 2,000 consecutive days of compliance to its regulatory consents, and continues to comply day after day.

• Asset Care Excellance

  • Ruabon Works has launched an initiative to ensure that all of the assets on site are managed to deliver ‘World Class’ performance – the site’s ‘ACE’ programme includes systems and processes which are used by both Flexsys and guest operators alike. The first independent ‘AMIS’ audit since the launch of the ACE initiative scored 60%, and puts the site in the ‘innovative’ category. ‘World Class’ will be achieved by the end of 2005.

• 6 sigma Conference

  • Flexsys held their worldwide 6 Sigma conference at Ruabon Works. The conference and IT facilities at Ruabon Works make it the natural choice for technical training of commercial and technical staff from the Flexsys worldwide operations.

• IT Centre

  • When Flexsys introduced its new worldwide ERP system, it chose to locate the hardware at Ruabon Works.
